Southeastern Conference Football Recruiting Summary

The 14 SEC schools recruited prospects from 29 different states in 2013. Of the 348 players signing with the SEC schools Wednesday, 270 came from within the geographic area of the SEC. The league's 14 programs went outside SEC states for just 78 recruits. The non-SEC states most often raided for talent were California (14), Kansas (11 *includes JUCOs), Virginia (10) and North Carolina (9).

SEC states who produced most signees:

*Every school but Texas A&M signed at least 1 prospect from Florida and Georgia.
*Texas A&M had more instate signees than any other SEC program (22).
*Mississippi had more signees than Louisiana or Alabama.
*Kentucky (4) high school football not up to SEC standards.
*Rivals rated 6 SEC schools in their Top-10 recruiting classes.
*A large number of signees are already enrolled in school and will go through spring practice.

Enrolling early is the latest craze now. Get them in to allow them to participate in Spring drills.

Junk, I'd have to do some research on other conferences but the SEC is taking advantage of this with 75 early enrollees this spring.
